Which I refer to now as food activism...<br />Exposing friends/neighbors/relatives/Minnesotans to real unmodified food is my mission. I had the pleasure of putting together a tomato tasting event this past Friday. With the burgeoning farm to table/urban farming/foodie movement infusing America, one would think that more people by now'd be exposed to more varieties of tomatoes than they have. As I set up people buzzed by busily chattering about the green/yellow/large/small varieties I brought. I am more stoked than ever about tomatoes and why people should plant their own and not discriminate on a little crusty looking bloated edged tomato.
