I’m well North of you, so my cucumber vines aren’t tired just eat, still right I. The thick of it.
My tomatoes aren’t so great this year. Lots of fruit set but they are small, especially the Roma varieties. We had the heat they love but no rain for a good 3 weeks, so even though I watered appropriately there’s just no way to substitute for rain. I rarely have issues with my peppers, but this year I have so many with damage at the base. At first I blamed slugs and then earwigs taking advantage but that doesn’t seem to fit either.
My apple trees are also dropping fruit. More than yours, I think. I blame that on the drought too. The ones that dropped were tiny, so I’m hoping the tree was smart enough to get rid of just enough and I’ll still get some good fruit. 🤞🏻 I won’t get any pears, plums, or cherries from my trees this year, I don’t think.
