The highs are have been in the low 70s yesterday and today. I should have transplanted the lettuce yesterday but I just got to it today.
It is super quick to plant using my little Power Planter auger on my drill. I spend about 5 minutes drilling my holes, sprinkle some fertilizer over everything, and then at that point I have to get down there and smoosh them in.
It sure goes a lot fast than digging each hole with a trowel.
If the weather would continue like this, I wouldn't worry one little bit about bitter lettuce.
But I went ahead and put shade cloth over them.
