Rescuing the Broccoli and Cauliflower Transplants

The broccoli and cauliflower plants are just fine.

I think that transplanting marigold seedlings can wait until tomorrow.

  1. Yeah well, we had 36° all day yesterday while the snow fell, and fell, and continued to fell (fall). Last night we had a HARD freeze and now we live in a world of white cement.

Darn good thing broccoli and cauliflower are "cold weather" plants, eh? Although you had them quite nicely tucked in under their black blanket. Smart girl.

    1. I had to remind myself that the frost frame was doing exactly what it was supposed to. If I wasn't expecting snow and cold they wouldn't be covered yet. This is the most snow I've ever had on an April frost cover.
