I haven't seen anything particularly rare this year, but it is nice having my phone on my hip all the time so I can snap each one and identify it later. Some of them are pretty shy and hard to get close to.

We have a lot of these clear winged moths. On any given day I can probably round up a dozen or more. My phone did a pretty good job of stopping the wing action.
I have also seen Mourning Cloaks, Pearl Crescents, Cabbage Whites and a little Azure, but no Painted Ladies, Clouded Sulphurs or Viceroys yet.
Beautiful! What a treat to see. Good job on photographing them!
